CFK & IPAK LIMITED LIFETIME REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE

New CFK and IPAK knives purchased from Skar’s Steel Blades are covered by the manufacturer’s Limited Lifetime Replacement Guarantee.

What Is Covered

If a qualifying knife blade breaks or the handle comes apart, CFK/IPAK will evaluate the knife for replacement. If the claim is approved, the customer may select an available replacement knife from the manufacturer’s current inventory. The replacement might not be the exact original model, material, or design.

What Is Not Covered

The Limited Lifetime Replacement Guarantee does not cover:

• Scratches, dents, dings, or cosmetic blemishes
• Blade-edge chips or blade-edge damage
• Broken blade tips
• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, prying, throwing, impact, or improper use
• Damage caused by incorrect or excessive sharpening
• Unauthorized alterations or modifications
• Corrosion, rust, pitting, tarnish, or carbon burrs
• Loss or theft
• Leather, Kydex, or other sheaths
• Whetstones, fire rods, sharpening tools, or other accessories

Knife Care

Carbon and tool steels require proper care. Clean and dry the blade after use, apply a light protective oil when appropriate, and never store the knife wet or dirty inside its sheath. Rust and corrosion are not manufacturing defects and are not covered.

Warranty Registration

Each qualifying knife must be registered with CFK/IPAK to activate the manufacturer’s warranty. Registration is required separately for every knife purchased.

Customers who purchase through Skar’s Steel Blades may contact us for help completing the manufacturer’s registration process. Keep your order confirmation or other proof of purchase.

Making a Warranty Claim

Contact Skar’s Steel Blades before shipping a knife. We will review the information, help document the issue, and coordinate the claim with CFK/IPAK.

Do not send a knife without receiving shipping instructions first.

The customer is responsible for safely packaging and shipping the original knife and its sheath for warranty evaluation. Tracking and shipping insurance are strongly recommended. A replacement will not be issued until the original knife and sheath have been received and the claim has been approved.

Manufacturer Warranty

This is a manufacturer-backed limited warranty administered by CFK/IPAK. Skar’s Steel Blades assists customers with registration and warranty communication but does not independently expand or alter the manufacturer’s coverage. Warranty approval and replacement selection remain subject to the manufacturer’s evaluation and current terms.
